Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. No dust jacket as issued, two-tone gray gilt stamped cloth over boards, patterned end papers, illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs. Volume I: (xxiii), 465 pages, contains list of illustrations and contents for Volumes I & II; Volume II has an Index and Bibliography for Volumes I & II, 619 pages; Volume III is Biographical, with frontispiece of the author, 537 pages, Index, many b & w portraits of famous Capital Region citizens. Covers stained, especially along spines, corners and spine ends are lightly worn, staining to text block edges, scattered instances of staining on interior, though generally very good condition.
