Sobre este artículo
Sablier, Paris., 1935. First edition. Octavo. 66 woodcuts by Masereel. Wrappers. A sad commentary on modern urban life. One of 1560 copies, this one marked 'H.C.' at the limitation.Presentation copy from the artist, inscribed on the second blank: ''à Barbusse, trés cordialement - Frans Masereel'. In 1921 Masereel had illustrated Henri Barbusse's Quelques coins du coeur, also published by Sablier.Small stain to bottom edge of front cover. Spine nicked at ends. Very good indeed.
