(George Francis Dew) to the previous owner, Dr. and Mrs Arthur M. Greenwood, a fine copy of a First Edition Thus. 162 pp. and with plentiful black-and-white illustrations in text. "Captain Lightfoot, whose real name was Michael Martin, is believevd to have been the last person in Massachusetts to be hanged for highway robbery. Shortly before his execution he dictated an account of his life and adventures" (which is reprinted here) - from Preface.
