The Softcovers have some Edgewear, including Light Tanning Discoloration around the Edges (particularly to the Rear Cover), a Small, Light Crease at the Bottom Fore Edge Corner of the Front Cover, and a Bump to the Top Fore Edge Corner which has caused Small Creases, as well as a Former Owner's Name at the Top Edge of the Front Cover, but the Softcovers have No Tears, Stains, or Other Major Damage. The Spine is Not Creased; the Binding is Strong and Intact. The Interior is Clean and Unmarked with No Writing, Highlighting, or Underlining and has a Bump to the Top Fore Edge Corner which has caused Small Creases but No Tears, Stains, Mold, or Other Major Damage. The Page Edges have but No Remainder Mark, Foxing, Stains, or Any Major Damage. Securely Packed and Promptly Shipped.

The October 1962 issue, Volume 2, Number 3, of Caribbean Studies contains the articles "The Issue of 'Race' in the British Reaction to the Morant Bay Uprising of 1865" by Bernard Semmel, "Some Variants in Concluding Tags in Antillian Folk Tales" by J. L. Dillard, and "Land Reform in Puerto Rico, 1940-1959, Part One" by Matthew Edel. This journal issue also contains "The Alfred Nemours Collection of Haitian History: A Catalogue" edited by Jane Toth and William A. Trembley as well as a few book reviews, a notes section on institutions and persons, and current bibliography of books and periodicals.
