New York and London: American Studio Books, 1946 1946, no printing stated. VERY GOOD in GOOD- dust jacket. Book is clean, totally unmarked and tightly bound in orange cloth hardcover gilt titled on front and spine. Light marginal toning to pages and endpapers; cloth along top edge of cover age darkened, boot otherwise fine. The price-clipped jacket is shelf-rubbed and there are several sizeable chips from the top edge but the caricature of Greta Garbo on front remains mostly intact, just a bit clipped from the top or her hat. There are a few dark spots on the rear panel. Jacket is in a clear archival protector. The caricatures, several printed in two-color (orange and black), include Raymond Massey, Gertrude Lawrence, Clark Gable, Ingrid Bergman, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Mickey Rooney, Mae West and a 'terrific' Joan Crawford … and many more. 6 x 9"; 80 pp. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good-.
