McGrath (1871-1932) was a prolific author who had eighteen of his novels made into movies; this one, a mystery/adventure/ caper story, was filmed in 1915. Here is is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Dark olive green cloth binding; ruled, with titling in gilt on the front cover and spine. Clean text; 390 pages. Color illustrations by Andre Castaigne. Tiny bit of rub to the tips and spine; else a Fine copy. Lacking the dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
