Sobre este artículo
Vienna: Schrämblischen, 1817. Image is 7 3/8 inches by 5 7/8 inches on a sheet that is 9 1/16 inches by 7 1/8 inches. Drawn by pharmacist turned naturalist Ferdinand Vietz ((1772-1815), engraved by Ignaz Albrecht, and published in volume 7 of Icones Plantarum Medico-Oeconomico-Technologicarum, edited by J. L. Kerndl and published by Schrämblischen in Vienna in 1818. Original hand-coloring. Like all the plates from Vietz's classic work on medicinal and culinary uses of plants, this is a lovely original print on high-quality watermarked laid paper. Condition is near fine: clean and bright. Binding edge is untrimmed. This original engraving is guaranteed to be more than 200 years old. Reference: Sitwell, GREAT FLOWER BOOKS, p. 147.. First Edition. Single Sheet. Near Fine. Illus. by Ferdinand Vietz. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Fine Art Print.
