New York: Warren, 1860. Original document. Very Good. Half-length sepiatone image of Jefferson in a coat with wide lapels, white shirt and bow tie, looking slightly to his right. On the verso is printed: "Warren, Boston and Cambridgeport, Mass." Jefferson (1829-1905), actor and comedian, is perhaps best known for his portrayal of "Rip Van Winkle," for being the first American actor to appear in a film, and as the namesake of Jefferson Island in Mashpee, Massachusetts.
