Characters originally created by Charles Spain Verral, who used the pseudonym George Wyatt in every book after this first one. A First Whitman Edition from 1960, in188 pages, illustrated throughout by Hamilton Greene. Hardcover small 8vo has decorative paper over boards & is in only Fair condition: basically a place holder or reading copy. Generally quite clean, binding straight & strong, both hinges intact. Pages moderately tanned, commensurate with age, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked. Heavy rubbing to all extremities with some chips & paper loss at both ends of spine.
