Slight cracking to Joints but both boards are firmly attached. Wear to corners of boards and ends of spine. Good solid binding with no loose pages. Clean text with just a little light foxing. Bottom margin has a small area of worming up to page 4, then a single hole up to page 212. The final 64 pages contain supplementary material, with separate register: 'Ex Bullario Laertii Cherubini, Romae 1638' and 'The Proceedings of the Parliament of Paris, upon the Pope's Bull' with its own title page, bearing the imprint 'Printed for R. Bentley... 1688'. A controversial anti Roman Catholic work, structured as a conversation between a Catholic Nobleman and a Church of England Gentleman.
