Sobre este artículo

In the Savoy [London]: Printed by E. and R. Nutt and R. Gosling, 1728. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. Two quarto volumes bound in later quarter leather and brown buckram, with red and black spine labels. One-inch split to front joint at head of Vol. I, some scuffing to the spines. Volume 1 lacks frontis portrait, shadow from removal of bookplate on each front pastedown, otherwise complete and clean, bindings sound. Ownership signature of John Griffiths in each volume, dated 1738 in Volume II. Vernon (1654-1721) was a Whig politician and a "leading practitioner in chancery cases" (ODNB). Due to the size and weight of this set, additional shipping costs (above those shown as standard) will apply for international and priority orders.
