Back hinge beginning to split on first bound volume, rubbing to leather on both volumes; interiors in good tight condition with light scattered foxing. A collection of attractive color plates and detailed black and white wood engraved illustrations highlighting the wonders of the animal kingdom, sea life, birds, reptiles and insects. Color plates of giraffes, hummingbirds, cats, dogs, flamingo etc. .
