London: Jonathan Cape, 1949. Reprinted 1955 . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight. A former owner has written his name and a date (1957) on the half title page, but there are no other marks or damage. The red covers are bright, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is corner clipped, but is also in very good condition. with a darkened spine, but llight wear only. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
