NY. NY: The Grolier Club. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1900. 1st Edition. Hardcover. This is an exhibition catalogue. Paper-covered boards are sunned, especially at margins and backstrip; corners of boards are rubbed and lightly worn. The spine label is deep red with bright gilt titles; gilt title on front cover is also bright and complete. The binding is tight. Frontispiece is a portrait of Dryden; the tissue guard is loose with a light crease. Pages are slightly yellowed; page ends are untrimmed. . Subtitle is: Together with a few engraved portraits and two oil paintings -- commemorative of the two hundredth anniversary of his death. This copy is one of a limited edition of 200 copies printed on hand-made paper, printed in March, 1900. It catalogs 166 works published by Dryden. . 8vo - 8" to 9" tall. 101 pages. K6 .
