A scarce original copy of this volume, which was presented to various reference libraries where a few copies still survive. Further Asia covers, Armenia, Syria, Phoenicia, Galilaea, Samaria, Judaea, Nabathaea, Mesopotamia, Parthia, Persia, India & more; Northern Africa covers, Egypt, Alexandria, Cyrenaica, Libya, Syrtica, Byzacene, Zeugitana, Islands between Africa & Sicily, Numidia, Mauretania; Western Europe covers Spain, Gaul & Britain & there's also uncertain coins. With 11 indexes to cover all eventualities. The binding has been repaired at some point & shows shelf wear, endpapers discoloured with small repaired tear to fepp. Corners bumped. Ex reference library with minimal markings; presentation bookplate to front pastedown & decorative one to rear, single stamp to front endpapers, blind stamp & handwritten number to reverse of title page & one other blind stamp within. No other obvious library markings, the inner book is clean & in very good condition. ***Really heavy & will definitely require extra overseas postage***
