(Republisher's dark blue buckram with gilt title on spine and on front board. = An important work with new species. This is the reprint, by A. Asher in Amsterdam, of volume XVI of the Journal of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. Originally it was published in thee parts over a period of several months. The originals are very rare. Library stamp (cancelled) on title page, traces of label on spine foot, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Not in Nissen, who only reports a similar work on fishes.
