[11.75x9.25in]; xvi, 63 pp., 484 entries, index; Tan paper wrappers with borders black lettering and designs on front, sewn and glued binding, oversized wrappers; Small closed tears and chipping to edges of wrappers with age toning and darken edges, some rubbing of covers and darken spine, with tipped in announcement of a limited Special Edition hard bound with illustrations from photographs by Marjory Farquhar. This is the David Magee Catalogue No. 42 which, as Magee put it, is "This Omnium Gatherum of Grabhorn Press books, the largest ever assembled for sale." This collection of Grabhorn publications was from several sources. By 1961, Grabhorn Press was a well know and respected institution in fine press publications. Over the years, the Grabhorn brothers and Jane Grabhorn collaborated with well known and not so well known authors, illustrators and others to produce a breath and depth of work that is still very impressive as one of the publishers of fine press work in the 20th Century.
