Sobre este artículo
Washington, D.C. / Huntington, Indiana: National Council of Catholic Men / Our Sunday Visitor, 1930. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Sixteen individual parts rebound in two hardcover volumes. The 16 individual publications are comprised of 165 short addresses in 1621 pages, including advertisements at the end of most volumes. EX-LIBRARY SET. Individual talks were given between 1930 and 1941. These volumes contain various but early editions of these works. Some dates of publication are "circa", as the bibliographical information in volumes is not always clear. Original front soft covers (original wrappers) of each booklet nicely bound in. Each volume is bound in a simple, dark red library cloth, with yellow lettering to spine. Volumes admit to typical library treatments. Exterior admits to light to medium wear and mild soiling in places on exterior, though this isn't terribly offensive. Another previous owner's name in ink to each front binder's blank. Minor, unobtrusive pencil to a small number of pages. Titles and dates of publication in these 2 volumes: The Divine Romance (1930); Manifestations of Christ (1932); The Hymn of the Conquered (1933); The Eternal Galilean (1934); The Fullness of Christ (1935); The Prodigal World (1935); Our Wounded World (1937); Justice and Charity Part I: The Social Problem and the Church (1938); Justice and Charity Part II: The Individual Problem and the Cross (1938); Cardinal Hayes: A Eulogy (1938); Pius XI: A Eulogy (1939); Freedom Part I: Social Freedom (1939); Freedom Part II: Personal Freedom (1939); Peace, The Fruit of Justice (1940); The Seven Last Words and the Seven Virtues (1940); War and Guilt (1940)
