Hardback, 1942 (reprint; first published 1940), illustrated album edition with the original pictures by B. T. B. and Nicola Bentley, published by Duckworth.
Octavo/8vo. Measures around 8 1/2" by 7" by 1 1/8". No dust jacket. Red cloth binding, gilt illustration to front board, gilt lettering to spine. Some discolouration to upper and lower board and spine edges, some scuffing, marking, especially to lower board edges and signs of shelf-wear. Slightly bumped corners. Some slackness to binding but contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, foxed, scuffed and marked. A little foxing and marking throughout page surfaces, though mainly to endpapers, but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
