Sobre este artículo

Published from the United States War Department, this an enormous handbook with instruction on the basics of military engagement, duties of instructors and soldiers, mounting and preparing horses, loading arms while riding, guidelines for shooting while mounted, sabre exercises, how to march with your horse, and seemingly countless other topics pertaining to Union Cavalry. While the text of this work is important, the numerous full-page engravings at the end – views of squadron formation, dress and costume, presenting arms, bugle call music, and much more!
