Rebound in plain brown paper wrappers, with the front panel of the original binding pasted on, the spine lettered by hand. Issued as a volume in the Beacon Series, July 20, 1898. An uncommon issue. Lost race - a 16th century English culture survives in the Antarctic. First published in 1894. The original edition has two maps and six plates.
