Pennsylvania, 1878. Original document dated Feb. 28, 1878 appointing William Mcfadden as State bank Assessor for Dauphin, Northumberland and Schuykill Counties in Pennsylvania. Document is 16" X 21" (prox.) and has two embossed Gold Seals, signed by J.G. Temple (Auditor General) and Henry Rawle (State Treasurer). In good condition on parchment-like paper, with 2 small tears and a hand-written note on back by Marie S haller, grand-daughter of Mcfadden..
