William Morrow, New York., 1973. Hard Cover.. G/G. 9 1/2 x 6 7/8 x 1 1/4.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book interior Book GOOD/ Dust Jacket Good. Boards and spine are dark green, gilt lettering. Dust jacket is white with colour photos front and back, different images. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, the laminate coating has many creases in it, some age darkening of DJ back cover, one edge chip, a bit of edge creases and a ripped crease 5/8 inch with paper flap in place. Book covers and spine are clean, bright, no rips, one small bent corner, a few spine creases, a bit of sunning along top edges. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Inside back cover has a rip along the join with RFEP and spine binding shows, cover is a little bit loose. Inside front cover was starting to do the same thing but someone appears to have put some glue in there, fixing it but making the FFEP stick to the inside front cover a little bit. The book is tight, no pages are loose or missing, and it’s a great book with gorgeous photos. Owner’s name, date, ink on 2nd front end page. Eight sections of stunning colour photo plates. Three sections of black/white photo plates. 1973 translation by Ewald Osers of Hans Hass’ “In Unberuhrte Tiefen” which was printed in Great Britain in 1972 as “To Unplumbed Depths”. Contents. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
