Volume II:Quarter leather and marbled paper, 672 pp., illustrated. Volume I contents include the Romance of geology, History of the slave trade, Joan of Arc, Life in the Bush, etc. Volume II contents include Slavery in America, Life of Captain Cook, Excursion to the Oregon, etc. Penciled notations in both volumes, both volumes are internally reinforced at the spine and covers have been well-used, else good and sound copies.
