Dustjacket is price-clipped with some loss to spine ends and corners. Book has corresponding fading and a tiny tear to top of spine. Corners a little rubbed. Illustrated with lovely colour and black & white pictures by Savile Lumley. 54 pages. Constance Heward was the author of the popular Ameliaranne series. Savile Lumley was a popular book illustrator and poster designer. He also provided the drawings for several magazines and comics including The Boy's Own Paper, The Champion Annual, Chatterbox and Little Folks. During the First World War he designed the famous poster, Daddy, what did you do in the Great War? . 1st Edition. Hardback.
