New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1970 First printing of the stated first American edition. A tiny bump to upper corner and spine ends gently crimped, else book in fine condition; dust jacket with a couple short closed tears and creasing to upper front cover, tiny rubbed stain to subtitle of front cover, mild toning to spine and folds, and light wear to spine ends and corners, else fine. A nice copy indeed. Made into film in 1970 as Erinnerungen an die Zukunft, a West German documentary film directed by Harald Reinl and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1971.
