The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography. Olive coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper white coloured titles to the front panel and white and dark pink coloured titles to the back strip. Erich von Daniken has looked at the beliefs and ideas of the last thousand or 2 years, in the light of today's knowledge of space travel, and argues that all of our ideas about the past and its knowledge of space need to be re-evaluated. Rubbing of the book edges with a very slight cock of the spine. Minor softening of the back strip edges. Light tanning and faint foxing of the text block edges with age toning of the pages. Offset tanning to the end pages. Previous owners name to the top left hand corner of the front paste-down. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Rubbing of the other edges and of the panels. Sunning of the back strip with browning of the fold over panels. Very faint foxing to the verso. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
