But she didn't get through the testing program - which, at one stage, took her & Prince Charles to four cities in 22 hours - without the guidance of her husband. At almost every turn, the Prince kept a watchful eye to ensure Diana was coping. At the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, as the couple put a wreath on the memorial stone, Charles could be heard quietly instructing his wife on procedure: "Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back." ..."
