A detailed study of the Scottish architect, designer, and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) and his influence on important design movements such as Art Nouveau. Mackintosh was one of the group known as 'The Four' The group known as 'The Four' who met at Glasgow School of Art in the mid 1890s. This work was written by Thomas Howarth. Illustrated throughout with diagrams. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in very smart condition, with a little bumping to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Light marginal age-toning to pages which are otherwise clean. Dust wrapper is in lovely condition. Near Fine
