London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1913. This collection was first published in 1881, with subsequent printings expanding the content. This is a Very Good copy of the Twelfth Edition [stated "This volume was first published in 1913" and "Twelfth Edition, May, 1913"]. The entire publishing history is given on the copyright page. Blue ribbed cloth binding, ruled on the covers; titling and decorations in gilt on the spine. Clean text;vi, 147 pages, with an eight-page publisher's catalog in the rear. The FFEP bears the signature of Eric John Dingwall (1890-1986), British anthropologist, librarian, and psychic researcher. The half-title has a listing for "Methuen's Shilling Library" that shows this published, with seven other Wilde titles in preparation. The spine has darkened to brown and the gilt is dulled, but remaining perfectly readable. Light soiling to the covers.. Reprint Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
