There is minor rubbing to the both boards and corners. There is some spotting to the front board. Spine is a bit worn at head and tail, with the remains of an old library label. Endpapers are browned (rear has library card holder attached). The interior pages are less age-toned. This volume uses the data so obtained to chart aerial routes and thus "the feasibility of air travel aided by air patterns." Contains 24 illustrated and explicated Charts of the Atmosphere. Rotch was also founder and patron of Massachusetts's Blue Hill Meteorological Observatory outside of Boston. This is a very rare item of early aeronautical history. OCLC 3474561.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
