Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Co., 1912. Goldberg book of cartoons; gift inscription dated 1912 on ffep; binding is side-stapled with thin mull hinges under a brown cloth spine; full-front board pastedown in three colors, is hand-soiled, a bit stained and smudged, but wholly complete and a classic. Book block is overall clean and tight although the paper is beginning to show signs of yellowing; ffep and fep are separated at the inside hinge; unpaginated. Making fun of dopes, morons, stupid questions, government officials, opinionated blow-hards and politicians was Goldberg's specialty. This is a gem of American humor.. First Edition.
