Philadelphia: Barrie, (1897-1899). . Twenty volumes. Champagne cloth, printed paper labels on spines. Frontispieces and several plates in each volume, all present in two states with tissue-guards. A few scuffs, some minor wear to some spine labels, a clean and very good set. This is the Japan Vellum Paper Edition, limited to 1000 numbered copies; this is #605. Presented in two sections of ten volumes apiece: The Realists and The Romancists. In English, translations of many uncommon works by Flaubert, Gautier, Sand, Feiullet, du Musset, de Lamartine, Halevy, Dumas, Zola, others. This is a heavy multi-volume set which will incur additional postage costs.
