A couple of tiny pencil notes in the margins, leaf of manuscript notes loosely inserted. Spine rolled, cloth lightly rubbed at the extremities. An excellent copy, the contents clean. First edition, first impression of this comprehensive history of chemistry's role in the Industrial Revolution by a professor of chemistry at the University of Aberdeen. A very nice copy.
