Sobre este artículo

London, Toronto, Melbourne and Sydney: Cassell and Company Limited, 1932 . First edition. Cloth. Good. 8" by 5". None. The scarce first edition of the last book published in Baroness Orczy's Scarlet Pimpernel series. First edition of A Child of the Revolution by Baroness Orczy in the original publisher's red cloth binding as called for.Scarce. This novel is chronologically the last of the Scarlet Pimpernel series, a wealthy man who turns into an escape artist to save French aristocrats during the French Revolution.Baroness Emma Orczy was a Hungarian-British author and playwright. With library label to front pastedown and prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper. No dust wrapper present. In original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities resulting in some wear. The spine is faded. The hinges are starting but firm. Library label to front pastedown and prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. Good
