Sobre este artículo

Madison: The American Thresherman, 1900. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Tan cloth with red lettering and black pictorial stamping. 130pp. Frontispiece, line drawings. Very good. Mild edgewear; nonauthorial gift inscription on inner flyleaf. A tight and attractive first edition of this gathering of children's tales set in upper Wisconsin. Atkinson, Mentzner & Grover of Chicago and Boston are also often noted as publishers of the first edition of this work, although whether one has priority or all are imprints of the same company has not been determined. American Thresherman states "First Edition November 5 1900" on copyright page.
