An ex-library copy bound or re-bound in sturdy orange patterned boards and orange spine with white type. Paper/adhesive scars to pastedowns, library stamp and Withdrawn stamp to first page after ffep which has been neatly cut out. Pocket, sticker and 'Withdrawn' stamp to rfep. Text block has had corners neatly rounded with 'Withdrawn' stamp to top page ends, some spots stains to bottom and front page ends and intermittant small stains and marks to text with several brackets and underlinings. Slighty cocked. Jacket is clipped to tops and bottoms of flaps, but price is evident ($8.95). Jacket has been substantially reinforced at spine ends and corners which have been trimmed neatly and backed with paper cutouts glued on the inside and tape reinforced on the outside. Long vertical tear to front flap arising from paper scarring on inside as was once affixed has been taped on the outside. General wear and creasing.
Sinopsis
Children of Dune is a science fiction novel by Frank Herbert, third in a series of six novels set in the Dune universe. The novel was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1977. It was originally serialized in Analog Science Fiction and Fact in 1976, and was the last Dune novel to be serialized before book publication. The novels Dune Messiah and Children of Dune were adapted into a well-received mini-series entitled Frank Herbert's Children of Dune by the Sci-Fi Channel in 2003.
