Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear save a touch of bumping to spine ends. Light toning to end-papers and paste-downs. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket. ($7.50), has some rubbing, nicks and tiny closed tears but is still fresh and bright. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.

The Children of Sanchez is a 1961 book by American anthropologist Oscar Lewis about a Mexican family living in the Mexico City slum of Tepito, which he studied as part of his program to develop his concept of culture of poverty.
