Sobre este artículo

Faber, London, 1939. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 292pp. With a frontispiece and sixteen photographs by the author. Green cloth lettered in gold at the spine. Edges spotted and with a little more spotting to the endpapers and several (blank) preliminary and concluding leaves. Just a touch of wear to the spine ends. Handsome former owner bookplate to the front free endpaper, alongside a former owner inked name and date (1944). A nice crisp copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, somewhat tanned at the spine panel, rubbed and a little nicked at the extremities with just a touch of light spotting and an inch or so of loss from the head of the spine panel and, a smaller area of loss from the base of the spine panel and several tiny slivers of loss from the corner tips. An affectionate and mostly literal account of the early years of Williamson's growing family, based in part on a series of articles called 'Tales of My Children' which he had contributed to 'Family' in 1935.
