First edition stated, very good + cloth hardcover shows touch of shelf wear including just the lightest bit of bumping to corners, small stain at top page edges of spine head, hint of soil at page edges and some other minor trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows a corner wrinkle at top of rear flap along with edge wear includign closed tears. 301 pages with black & whites. Translated by Jan Van Heurck. Still a pretty nice copy of this work where-in Diftfurth "..attempts nothing less daring than to exorcise the feeling of loss and disillusionment that has affected Western man ever since the days of Nicolaus Copernicus (1472-1543.).
