Top edge gilt, mounted color frontispiece with captioned tissue guard, 18 monochrome plates. The covers are lightly soiled, the spine quite soiled, and two plates are loose. Also known as Madame Maurice Maeterlinck. Illustrations by Herbert Paus. Identified on cover as: Madame Maurice Maeterlinck. Translated by Alexander Teixeira de Mattos. (Juvenile).
