Front Endpaper has an inked three lines one of which is the owner's name. Eight pages of color illlustrations begin on page 115. I found four instances of very small marginal notes. There may be a few more that I missed but for the most part the text is clean, tight, and free of marks, stamps, or underlining. Contents in Three Parts - Learning About Children and ooks, Knowing Children's Literature, and Developing a Literature Program. A text about children's literature and also a book about teaching children's literature. The author shares her knowledge and enthusiasm for the literature of childhood with students, teachers, and librariarians in the hopes that they will communicate their excitement about books to the children they teach. Heavy book that may incur additiional shippiing charges to some localities.
