An unused Finnish A2 lobby poster for the movie Lucy Gallant, starring Jane Wyman & Charlton Heston The film was first screened in Finnish cinemas in 1956. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx, printed by Rotopaino Oy of Helsinki. It is in miraculous shape, Mint condition. Unfolded. No pinholes. No tears, nicks or creases. Bright, clean and vivid.

A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-foyer POSTER for the first screening in Finland (March 1965) of the celebrated film, Zorba the Greek, starring Anthony Quinn and Alan Bates. A rolled poster (i.e. no folding creases) in Fine condition, approximate size is 23.5 inches by 16 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. With minor signs of use: one very short tear to right edge and similar to bottom edge (neither immediately noticeable). Minor print-soiling to verso where there is also a small pen inscription of film-title and date. Minor handling creases to the corners and some minor dings along the left edge of the poster suggesting that it may have been mounted with clips - there are neither pin-holes nor tape residue marks. In fantastic clean condition otherwise, Fine or better. Artist-signed in the plate. For best appreciation of condition, please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing.

Finland: Compagnie Lyonnaise de Cinéma/Metheus Film/Rapid Film, 1966. 1st Edition . No Binding. Near Fine. Cinema-used Finnish one-sheet for the movie AGENT 505: DEATH TRAP IN BEIRUT. Agent 505, played by Frederick Stafford, was a German/Italian/French co-production aiming to capitalize on the success of the 60's spy-genre and in particular the James Bond franchise. He was the Common Market's 007. The film was first screened in Finnish cinemas in 1966 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx. It is fabulous and I was going to describe it as Mint Unused but then at the last second I noticed a pinhole and small tear at the centre top between the "V" and "E" in "Genevieve. Appears as though a tack was used to fix the poster and then it was just pulled through at dismounting. It really is difficult to spot. The movie is also known as The Girl from Room 17 and it is this less "salacious" title which is referred to in the poster. The actual Finnish title translates as "Flying Squad". The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1953 with no subsequent theatrical screenings. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. Standard size 23.5" x slightly under 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one or two small handling creases. At the top - in the brim of the hat - there is a puncture or split to the paper although there is not actual loss. There are no pinholes - it may be an unused poster.
