In a quarter calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the boards and spines. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities, with a very small amount of loss to the head of the spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title of 'The Battle of Life'. Very Good
