FIRST PRINTING. SIGNED and inscribed by Grandpré on free endpaper. A formerly rich woman finds a ginger cat who restores her to prosperity, only to lose him when she returns to her haughty and arrogant ways. This was the very first book Grandpré illustrated. Uncommon both signed and in first printing.
