No wrappers, perhaps as issued. 84 pp. Presumably issued by the China Information Committee, this work provides a collection of short news briefs or articles published by the committee, providing news or updates on the Sino-Japanese War of 1937-1945. The committee published a journal, where these pieces probably came from. The China Information Committee was formed in 1937, and published English language propaganda for foreign audiences. The committee was controlled by Chiang Kai-Shek (see Burke Library Archives for previous information). This piece contains items on the war itself and various battles, news on a guerrilla school, missionary reports, "Japanese Head Hunters," etc. GOOD condition. Paper toned, with lower corners creased and curled. Faint creasing to the first page.
