Sobre este artículo
New York, NY Orion Press, 1959. Hardcover First Edition USA [1959], not directly stated, but implied by the fact that the Library of Congress number begins with 59, and no subsequent printings are noted. The French edition was published in 1951. Good+: shows indications of careful use: considerable shelving wear to the lower extremities; the front hinge has at some point been reglued (holding firmly secure at this point); some foxing to the endpapers; some smudging to the top edge of the text block; a former owner's information (apparently a rubber stamp) has been removed from the bottom of the title page; mild rubbing and faint, but pervasive soiling and dusting to the green cloth over boards; the binding remains secure; the text is clean. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any ownership names (other than the one referred to above), dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. Shows some wear, but remains structurally sound and tightly bound: a sturdy, presentable copy. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Large, rather heavy 8vo. (8.5 x 5.75 x 1.4 inches). xxii, 331 pages. Illustrated with 82 photographic reproductions throughout, 18 of them in color. Translated from the French by Haakon Chevalier. Language: English. Weight: 1 pound, 15 ounces. First Edition USA [1959], not directly stated, but implied by the fact that the Library of Congress number begins with 59, and no subsequent printings are noted. The French edition was published in 1951. Hardback: Lacks DJ.
