New York: Macmillan Company, 1927. Hardcover. G. Cover shows edge wear, bumped covers, rubbing of cloth. Owner's sticker on ffep. Title page has chunk of bottom corner missing, doesn't interfere with text. Contains some soiling spots, minor crinkling, some flaws along edges, but overall text is clean and tight.. Green cloth with gilt emblem and gilt lettering on spine. 14 deckled pp text + 100 color plates with descriptions on opposing pages. Title continues: "Introduced by an Outline Sketch of Chinese Art by R.L. Hobson, Keeper of The Department of Ceramics and Ethnography at the British Museum." An old book with beautiful plates!
