From an on-line posting: "While knowing your enemy has long been a Chinese stratagem, cultural intelligence has only recently gained precedence in American military strategy. How does China perceive itself, the world and China s place within it. Ms. Susan L. Craig is currently a Red Team Leader at the Joint Intelligence Operations Center of U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii. This monograph was written while she was a China analyst at the U.S. Army s Foreign Military Studies Office at Fort Leavenworth. She also worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency as a staff officer and counterproliferation analyst in Washington, DC. Ms. Craig has an M.P.A. in international security policy from Harvard s Kennedy School of Government and an M.A. in political management from George Washington University. Her undergraduate degree in political science and history is from Carroll College, Waukesha, WI. The information was current at the time when the work was published by SSI."
