Sobre este artículo
Modern Greece chius Argenti, Philip P. (Philip Pandely), 1891- Chius vincta, or, The occupation of Chios by the Turks (1566) & their administration of the island (1566-1912). Edited, with an introduction, by Philip P. Argenti; with a preface by Sir Stephen Gaselee. Cambridge: The University Press, 1941, cclxxvii, 264 pages, [1] leaf of plates; includes bibliographical footnotes and index, port. Very good copy, ex-library – pencil line through library stamp on verso of title page. Some numbering on foot of last page, no other library markings noted. Rebound (recently) in nice black library buckram with gilt lettering on spine. Probably from the personal library of the library's Middle Eastern reference librarian. Very good copy of a classic work. Argenti's books are very scarce and very expensive. $95.00 Box 70, III, 6
